I'm a 23 year old male and I got stretch marks all over my upper body too. Most of it from weight lifting. I wish someone would have told me to use Coca or Shea butter when I first started. But anyways, I'm in the same boat as you, I never take off my shirt off either.

I have been researching trying to find ways to get rid of my stretch marks.

Someone has already mentioned how most creams don't go deep enough into the skin and they don't reach the layer with collagen. However there is some options to fix this. One is the derma roller which punches holes into the body's skin so the collagen repairing creams can reach. Right now derma rolling is cheap and said to be just as effective as the laser options. I have been following a thread at another skin care forum and it seems very promising from all the posts. What these people are doing is buying creams like Retin A(said to help with collagen growth) and rolling once a week. It's painful though, just look at some youtube videos.

Then there is laser technology(ex:Cool Beam, Fraxal, etc) which cost $400-$2000 a session and require about 3 or more trips to the doctor. That is too high of a price range for me.

I have also heard that microdermabrasion is some what effective in stretch marks. Basically layers of skin peeled off and removed. However they say that scars which are indented into the skin do not benefit from this procedure. Since some stretch marks have those indentations I don't see how it is effective for stretch marks. But since it's not too expensive I might give it a try.
