postheadericon Help for loose skin, stretch marks etc…

Not really sure where to post this, but I noticed on another board people had concerns about this. I make natural soaps/lotions etc and I have some techniques for helping with this problem.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to create your own healing/firming lotion let me know and I'll post a recipe, otherwise look for heavy “body butter” type lotions that contain the following ingredients: Shea Butter (the best for healing dry skin and also making skin more soft and supple) Cocoa Butter (great for firming and softening) Those are the best and also look for things like collagen which helps to rebuild skin cells, vitamin E (the natural kind NOT the synthetic it isn't as good), and one of the absolute best is hemp seed oil. Also, be sure to drink a lot of water to rehydrate the body and the skin, it will “snap back” quicker with a daily regimen of a good multivitamin, using a very good lotion 2-3 times per day and being hydrated…

When you look for lotions look for the above ingredients to be closer to the top. If additives/preservatives and alcohol are the main ingredients avoid that product and invest a little more in something that will actually work.

I definitely advocate creating your own products because when they are homemade they have more of the working ingredients without all the alcohol and water and such the big producers use to cut costs. A little bit of pure shea butter or cocoa butter unrefined and without all water/alcohol can heal almost any skin condition and will do so faster than any commercially prepared lotion… anyway if anyone wants to know more feel free to email me and I'll give you some recipes :)
