How to Get Rid of Blemishes
Blemishes which is commonly known as acne is a normal skin disorder that many people suffer from. There is no lack of available medicines and treatments for blemishes but the effectiveness are doubtful. Most products do not deliver on their promises and I had personally tried so many of them with little results. Most of the times my blemishes will reappear before the previous ones are healed. I stop using commercial blemishes products and start using holistic treatment to get rid of my blemishes. How to get rid of blemishes is not a mystery anymore for me now and I will share with you some of the methods that I have used.
Blemishes occur when there hormonal imbalance in your body. Hormonal imbalance can lead to many factors that cause acne. Some of the factors are oily skin and excess dead skin cells on the skin surface. These problems are impossible to treat with creams and lotions. It is the underlying problems we need to treat in order to get rid of blemishes permanently.
The only thing you can do to eliminate these problems is to make changes to your diet. The first thing you need to do is to hydrate your body well. Drink at least 2 liters of water daily can help to flush out toxins in the body. A body with lesser toxins will be less vulnerable to blemishes.
You will have to reduce your intake of foods that are high in sugar content. Eating foods can cause your body to produce more insulin to deal with the excess sugar. Your body will produce more androgens to take care of the excess insulin and bring your blood sugar back to normal. This process causes your oil glands to become much more active due to the presence of excess androgens. It will also cause your skin cells to turnover much faster and increases your chances of pores blockages.
Avoid being too stressful too. Being stressful can cause your body to produce chemicals that can stress out your immune system and cause blemishes to break out. That is why people tend to have more breakouts when they are stressful.
Your sleeping habit also plays a big part in treating your blemishes. Sleep at least 8 hours a day. Having adequate rest will allow your immune system to stay strong and allow your skin to regenerate new cells faster. This can help to cure your blemishes much faster.
How to get rid of blemishes is not rocket science. It is also not about creams and lotions. It is about eliminating all the causes of it to prevent blemishes from happening again. That is why the creams and lotions that you buy in the pharmacies doe not produce satisfactory results.
