“Hi. I'm Trina Sims of Green Star Herbs and today I'm going to talk about some home remedies for stretch marks. Your very first ally is exercise. It'll help you to lose any excess weight you may have gained. It'll also help tone the underlying muscles and the improved circulation promoted by exercise will help clean and nourish the skin itself. Then you want to address your diet. Be sure to remove preservatives from your from the diet. They really slow down the skin's ability to regenerate itself. Stay hydrated. And be certain that you're getting enough protein in your diet for the skin to have some resources to call on to heal itself. Now a number of oils and butters can be applied topically to help with stretch marks. Among the most common of these and the most economical are cocoa butter, vitamin E oil and jojoba oil which used to be pretty rare but has come into fairly common usage. A second tier of really good restorative oils that can be used include macadamia oil, pomegranate seed oil and rose hip seed oil. Then there are several more rare and perhaps more costly oils but you can add just a bit of these to any of the others to help promote the healing and restoration of the skin and among the best of these are Sea boxthorn, tamanu oil and emu oil. Apply a few drops to the area and gently massage in a circular pattern for a few minutes until the oils are absorbed. The massage lightly over the skin will actually help promote the healing as well. I hope you find this information helpful. Thank you.”
