You may of heard quite a lot about Bio-Oil on the internet and TV commercials. Some people rave about it as a miracle oil, and others haven't had much success with it – having said that, the majority of reviews are positive.

Most people initially buy the product to use on stretch marks in pregnancy, and scars. But it can be used for many other skin conditions, such as aging or dehydrated skin, blemishes and uneven skin tone.

How Effective is Bio-Oil as a Face Cream?

It contains a breakthrough ingredient called PurCellin Oil… this reduces the thickness of the oil, making it non-greasy and easily absorbed. It is a natural product which contains vitamin A and vitamin E. It also contains the oils of Lavender, Rosemary, Calendula and Chamomile. Even very dehydrated skin is intensely moisturised, leaving your skin softer and smoother… so reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It helps to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, and doesn't clog the skin or cause breakouts.

The majority of people that have tried Bio-Oil have been pleased with the results. The most noticeable effect is how smooth and supple it makes your skin. Fine lines and wrinkles are softened, and the skin has a more even tone. It also helps to reduce spots, blemishes and large pores.

Application of Bio-Oil.

You only need 3 to 4 drops to cover your face and neck. Many people prefer to apply it before going to bed, to let it soak in overnight. It should be applied before your regular moisturiser, as face cream can leave a residue which blocks the absorption of the oil. It doesn't contain any sunscreen, so apply this after the oil has soaked into the skin. Instructions are supplied with the packaging, showing you how to massage it into your face and neck.

Other Uses For Bio-Oil.
